摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism for a ball screw mechanism excellent in processing ease, productivity, and effectiveness in maintenance work whereby it is possible to widen the degree of freedom in designing of the driving mechanism and allow a caliper body to slide smoothly by enhancing the weight balance of the caliper body. SOLUTION: A first bevel gear 34 is connected to a motor and rotates in the direction approximately perpendicularly to the rotary shaft of a ball screw nut 23, and with this bevel gear 34, a second bevel gear 35 is meshed to convert the rotation in the perpendicular direction into torque parallel with the rotary shaft of the ball screw nut 23. In the axial direction of the rotary shaft 38 of the second bevel gear 35, an axial direction gear 36 is formed at the periphery in such a way as wider in the axial direction. A narrow reduction flat gear 37 to mesh with the gear 36 is coupled and fixed to the ball screw nut 23 coaxially with the rotary shaft of the ball screw nut 23.</p>
