摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrification type charge controlling agent in a fine particle state containing no metal and having preferable electrification performance and little changes in the electrification performance by environmental changes and to provide a negative developer by using the above charge controlling agent. SOLUTION: The negative electrification type charge controlling agent consists of fine particles having 10 nm to 5μm average particle size prepared by polymerizing monomers containing at least one kind of monomer by 10 to 100 wt.% which is selected from a group consisting of addition polymerizable monomers having acid groups, addition polymerizable monomers having perfluoroalkyl groups and addition polymerizable monomers having aromatic rings substituted with electron withdrawing groups.
