PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic one-component toner which obviates the fusion of toner particles to an electrostatic charge imparting member, does not give rise to filming to a photoreceptor, developer carrying member, etc., lessens the degradation in image density during long-term continuous printing, makes it possible to obtain the good images free of fogging and streaks and is highly durable. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic one-component toner is deposited with (a) first inorganic particulates of an average primary volumetric grain size of <=20 nm, (2) second inorganic particulates of an average primary volumetric grain size of 30 nm to 1μm and (3) third inorganic particulates indispensably consisting of cerium oxide and containing at least one among other rare earth element compounds on the surfaces of toner particles containing a binder resin and coloring agents. The surfaces of the third inorganic particulates are treated by a hydrophobing treating agent.
|
