PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor ink film capable of being reduced in cost by making it possible to efficiently use an intermediate transfer medium corresponding to the size of the image formed on a receiving medium by forming a positioning marker at first when a primary image is formed on the intermediate transfer medium and capable of ensuring more image forming recording cycles in itself. SOLUTION: Unit recording cycles 4, each of which is constituted by successively arranging a plurality of ink regions 3C, 3M and 3Y for forming a full color image on a film substrate 2 in the longitudinal direction thereof, are repeatedly formed. A marker transfer ink region 5 for forming a positioning marker 7, which becomes a position standard at the time of formation of the primary image to the intermediate transfer medium and at the time of re-transfer to the receiving medium, is formed to the boundary part of the adjacent unit recording cycles 4 and an image forming recording cycle 6 is constituted of one marker transfer ink region 5 and one unit recording cycle arranged immediately after the marker transfer ink region 5. |
