PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding mask capable of finely adjusting the light quantity of a projection lens in a projection type display device. SOLUTION: A light shielding adjusting mechanism detachably loaded in the front of the projection lens 5 in the light shielding mask 30 is provided with a pair of guide plates 13 arranged on one end of a base 11 in a state mutually separated at a prescribed interval and capable of supporting a light shielding plate 12 so as to be slide it, elastic bodies 15 arranged on the other end of the base 11 in a state mutually separated at a prescribed interval and capable of pulling and fixing the plate 12 and adjusting bolts 20 to be connected to interlocking plates 16 fitted to the plate 12 in order to slidably fix the plate 12. Both the ends of the plate 12 are planed off like a circular arc (ϕD) shape defining a distance between both the guide plates 13 as a diameter and each interlocking plate 16 is supported on a point of the plate 12 so as to be oscillated, so that the plate 12 can be adjusted in the length direction of the bolt 20 and in a rotating direction around the plate 16. |
