PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic plate in which a contraction and occurrence of a crack of a cement skin layer is prevented, a deterioration of a decorative coating film is suppressed and long term durability of adhesive properties or the like is improved, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the inorganic plate (1) comprises the steps of forming a cement skin layer (12) containing an inorganic aggregate component on a front surface of a base (11) for the plate, in any of papermaking step to curing and hardening steps in the case of manufacturing the plate (1) by papermaking, molding, curing and hardening a raw material slurry containing the cement as a main component raw material, to the plate (1) containing the inorganic aggregate component in the skin layer (12).
