摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of degradation of material of a part corresponding to a caudal fin, caused by repeated movement. SOLUTION: A caudal fin type propeller is invented taking a hint from fish sailing to solve a problem of a screw used for the driving force of a ship at present. Since vibration is generated by every lateral movement, a pair of fins are arranged and moved in lateral symmetry to prevent vibration. At high speed, there is no energy loss caused by vortex formed by the rotation of the screw, so that the efficient propeller is provided. The laminated structure of metal and rubber seems to be suitable from the viewpoint of resilience and strength, but there is room for further research.
