PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste collecting container capable of smoothly discharging wastes when a motor truck having a low car height is loaded with the container. SOLUTION: This waste collecting container is attached and detached to and from the motor truck, and provided with a container body 2 having an opening part 3 at the rear end face and a door 4 for closing the opening part 3. The door 4 has an upper end side rotatably fitted to the container body 2, and when the front end side of the container body 2 is lifted to tilt the container body 2, the door 4 is turned in the direction of opening the opening part 3, whereby the waste stored in the container body 2 is dropped from a gap formed between the door 4 and the opening part 3 to the outside. The container is provided with a door opening mechanism 18 for opening the door 4 more than a tilting angle of the container body 2.
