PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified device for pushing off a sheet-shaped material 4 from the coating surface 2 of the printing cylinder 1 of a rotary press with complete guarantee for preventing machine breakage, wherein a warping body 6 is pivotally provided at a linear guide 8 and controlled by a gripper shaft 15, and the front area 5 of the material is lifted from the cylinder 1 by the warping body 6. SOLUTION: The warping body 6 is connected to the gripper shaft 15 through a transmission device 21 and first covers an empty stroke 35 when the warping body is moved to be inserted and discharged.
