HYPOBAROTHERAPY OF ANXIETY DISORDERS AT NEUROSIS AND PSYCHOSOMATIC DISEASES

FIELD: medicine, psychiatry. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out a gradual, step-by-step "uplift" of a patient at 1-3 m/sec rate, and "downgrade" - at 1-3 m/sec rate. During the first seance "the uplift" is performed to 500 m "height", then it is daily increased by 500 m to achieve final "height" of 3500 m to conduct there about 18-20 curative seances at 1.5 h duration (taking into consideration the time for "uplift" and time for "downgrade"). The method enables to treat anxiety disorders at neurosis and psychosomatic disease due to adaptation to periodic hypoxia under decompression chamber conditions.
