PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an oil filler cap that can secure a space over a cylinder head cover, facilitates attachment and detachment of the oil filler cap, and can input oil to an engine with high workability. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of the oil filler cap CA in an engine 1 having a chamber 31 of an intake manifold just over the cylinder head cover 4, a cylindrical oil filler cap mounting part 4A projecting upwardly is disposed at a position avoiding a chamber CA of the intake manifold in the upper part of one end in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder head cover 4, a fastening part 4B with a chain case 6 disposed in the lower side part of the cylinder head cover 4 is disposed in the side part of the oil filler cap mounting part 4A, and the oil filler cap CA is mounted to the oil filler cap mounting part 4A of the cylinder head cover 4 having such a structure.
