PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart curability to an acrylic block copolymer to thereby provide a block copolymer which gives a cured item excellent in the balance among physical properties. SOLUTION: This block copolymer is of an A-B-A type and comprises two methacrylic polymer blocks (A) each consisting mainly of methyl methacrylate units, the number of methyl methacrylate units in this polymer block being 10-3,000, and (B) an acrylic polymer block consisting mainly of acrylic ester units, the number of acrylic ester units in this polymer block being 10-5,000. In at least one of block A, at least one vinyl monomer unit having at least one hydrolyzable silyl group is incorporated.
