PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable for communications with which the laying operation of the optical fiber cable and a communication wire can be carried out at the same time, which can easily be separated and connected to an information outlet, etc., and exerts sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable for communications is composed of an optical cable consisting of at least one or more single-fiber optical cords, at least one or more tension members attached to the single-fiber optical cord and a sheath which covers the tension members and the single-fiber optical cords in an elliptical or circular shape, a telecommunication cable in which a plurality of communication wires are covered with a sheath in a serial or parallel state, and a binding wire wound so that the telecommunication cable and the optical cable are unitedly banded in an attached state.
