PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the difficulty in realizing high accuracy by generation of bachlashes due to abrasion from spot contact. SOLUTION: The angle-of-rotation detector is constituted of a rotor 2, having a disc-shaped disk 1 having angle data corresponding to one rotation fixed thereto and having a projected part 7 formed by successively offsetting circular arcs with a predetermined radius in the radial direction by a predetermined quantity to connect them over 360 deg. and the slider 9 fitted to the projected part 7 of the rotor so as to be freely slidable in a circumferential direction and having a plurality of arcuate groove parts 10 and moved slidably in the radial direction, while regulated by a guide part accompanied by the rotation of the rotor 2.
