PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive a complete combustion of distillation gas and finish the distillation of waste without wasting. SOLUTION: A waste processing device is provided with a distillation chamber 21 for receiving the waste, a heating and combustion unit 22 for burning distillation gas through a distillation combustion chamber 23, a temperature difference detecting means 31 for detecting the temperature change of the distillation combustion chamber through thermostats 33, 34, and an air amount control means 30 for increasing the amount of air supplied into the distillation combustion chamber 23 when the temperature difference detecting means 31 has judged a temperature rise. In this case, the combustion of the distillation gas is started by the initiation of combustion of distillation gas by combustion gas and, successively, the amount of distillation gas is increased whereby big amount of generating heat of the distillation gas is generated. Subsequently, the temperature difference detecting means 31 judges a temperature rise along the upstream toward the downstream of the distillation combustion chamber 23. As a result, the air volume control means 30 increases the amount of air supplied into the distillation combustion chamber 23 before generating faulty combustion such as the generation of soot since the density of the distillation gas in the distillation chamber 23 becomes excessive, whereby the combustion of distillation gas can be finished completely in the distillation combustion chamber 23.
