PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable assembling simply and high precisely with uniform quality even by a worker low in the degree of a skill when a bearing, such as an angular bearing, is assembled to a spindle shaft and a pre-load is applied. SOLUTION: When a bearing 3, such as an angular bearing, is assembled to a spindle shaft 1 and a prescribed pre-load force is applied by a fastening nut 7, and internal pressure, which may be generated at a bearing inner 4 when the bearing inner 4 is fitted on the spindle shaft 1, is determined from various parameters through calculation, and based on the internal pressure, bearing slide resistance is determined through calculation and an assembly design load is added to the bearing slide resistance to determine a total assembly load. Further, screw friction torque generated during fastening of the fastening nut 7 and bearing surface friction torque are determined through calculation. From the friction torque and a total assembling load, fastening torque to be applied on the fastening nut 7 is determined.
