METHOD FOR PRODUCING SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND THE RESULTANT SYNTHETIC LEATHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic leather having stable processability and soft touch feeling and also high abrasion resistance, and to provide a method for producing the synthetic leather by coating method. SOLUTION: This method for producing a synthetic leather is characterized by comprising the steps of subjecting a fibrous base material to the treatment of including 20-100 wt.% of water thereinto and coating the resultant hydrous fibrous base material with a polyurethane resin solution or polyureaurethane resin solution followed by drying to form a resin coating film on the fibrous base material. The objective synthetic leather obtained by this method is thus provided.
