<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for packaging use and a cushioning filler which is capable of protecting a product from any external shocks, adsorbing, decomposing and deodorizing the generated odor, and preventing degradation of the quality or staining of the product by adjusting the humidity. SOLUTION: In the cushioning material for packaging use formed in a sheet or a film, or the cushioning filler for packaging use which is formed in adequate sectional shape and sectional area and cut to the predetermined length, a material consisting of, by weight, 75-90% thermoplastic resin, thermosetting resin or starch and 1-25% polyvinyl alcohol is foamed in continuous foam. Artificial zeolite powder of 5-15% in which the grain size is 10 m, the specific surface area is at least 70 m<2> /g, the base substitution capacity (meq/100 g) is 200 mg, and the water absorption capacity is 20% is mixed in a diffused manner.</p> |
