PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection member, the direction of which is easily adjusted and which can turn the light towards a light receiving part even when there are some directional deviations, and to provide an optical detector which has the reflection member. SOLUTION: The reflection member is used together with a light emitting part and a light receiving part in order to detect the passage of an object between the light emitting and receiving parts by reflecting the light from the light emitting part toward the light receiving part. The reflection member has a concaved reflection surface approximately in a V-shape or in an arc shape, and turns the light from the light emitting part to the light receiving part by reflection. |
