摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adsorptive catalytic material having pores of such a relatively large diameter as to make the material usable in catalytic adsorption reactions for high molecular weight molecules and bulky molecules and having such superior heat resistance as to make the material utilizable as a cracking catalyst, an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, or the like. SOLUTION: A layered silica-metal oxide porous body has a structure obtained by forming an interlayer cross-linkage of SiO2 by dehydration condensation of silicic acid between lamellar crystals of silicon tetrahedrons SiO4 , has numerous pores of >=10Ådiameter and has solid acidity exhibited by bonding atoms of a metal different from silicon to the lamellar crystals.
