PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle cup holder capable of storing a holder main body in a case without an obstacle to a device positioned adjacent in the inner part of the case. SOLUTION: This cup holder 10 is provided with a case 30 and the holder main body 40. The holder main body 40 is provided with a bottom wall, a rear opening part, a bottom opening part 44, a cup placing member 60 and an energizing means (e.g. spring 64). The cup placing member 60 is provided with a rear plate 62 for blocking up the rear opening part at its retreating position, and a placing plate 63 vertically overlapping the bottom wall in its forward position. The case 30 is provided with a pressing part 33 for pressing the cup placing member 60 toward the forward position against the energizing force of the energizing means 64.
