PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cooling water passage structure of a water-cooled engine capable of realizing the stable control of cooling water by effectively cooling a cylinder head with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This water-cooled engine comprises a water pump 50 for feeding cooling water to a cooling water passage formed in the engine, a thermostat 60 for controlling the supply of cooling water discharged from the water pump 50 to the inside of the engine, a cooling water hose 57 having one end part connected to the discharge side of the water pump 50 and the other end part connected to a water jacket 32a in a cylinder head 32. The cooling water from the water pump 50 is introduced from the cylinder head 32 to the water jacket 32a in the engine through the cooling water hose 57.
