Control circuit arrangements for controlling electric motors, especially DC motors require the use of circuit-breakers or circuit-breaker modules including so-called intelligent types with high short-circuit strength and providing a smooth start for the associated motors, one module being used for two motors. Where more than two motors are used several circuits breakers or modules must be used leading to increased space requirements and increased costs and thermal emissions. To overcome these problems, at least two electric motors (16,17,26,27) are assigned, connected in parallel, to each circuit-breaker (3,4).and are connected to the outputs (11,12,13) of the circuit-breakers. |
