PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct spread spectrum communication system adopting a multi-rate delay multiplex system that adopts the system by which the effect by a multiplex wave is simply cancelled so as to reduce the scale of the circuit of a receiver. SOLUTION: An SS reception signal subject to delay multiplex at a multi-rate is IF-converted and BB-converted and inversely spread by a correlation device 34 and a multi-value multiplexed correlation signal is given to a multi-rate canceller section 51, which receives a control signal from a multiplex number selection section 52 in response to a multiplex number set at a transmitter side, selects data of a correlation output and an optimum condition for its cancellation processing, a differential demodulation section 38 demodulates the processing result to avoid the effect of dispersion due to a multiplexed wave. |
