摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of a coefficient of performance(COP) and to improve energy saving ability during operation of an air-conditioner according to area assignment by a method wherein suction temperature detecting means are arranged at the right and left end parts of the air conditioner and control of an indoor temperature is effected based on the detected temperature of an end part corresponding to an assignment area. SOLUTION: When an assigned assignment area is a right area 1, the vertical flap, situated on the left side of the central position in the lateral direction of an air- conditioner 1, of vertical flaps in a blowout port 41 is pointed to a left oblique direction. Further, the vertical flap on the right side is pointed to the direction of a front. In this case, air in a room is sucked through a suction port, and air heated by a heat-exchanger in the air-conditioner 1 is blown out through a blowout port 4. Temperature detected by a temperature sensor 10a on the right side and temperature detected by a temperature sensor 10b on the left side are inputted to a control means 11. In this case, since an assignment are is a left area 1, the control means 11 decides a control temperature to a detecting temperature on the left side. No control is effected by the detecting temperature on the right side being a low temperature and the COP is prevented from lowering.
