PURPOSE: A domestic rice polishing machine is provided to easily remove polished rice remaining inside the machine even if an operation of the machine stopped because of interruption of electric power or overload. CONSTITUTION: The domestic rice polishing machine comprises a body(10), first and second husking parts(20,30), and an impeller carriage, wherein the impeller carriage is formed with an opening and closing member to be inserted into the impeller carriage in order to remove unpolished rice when the polishing machine stopped temporarily because of interruption of electric power or overload. In addition, the impeller carriage has a slidable plate provided at the opening and closing member to expose or hide it, an extended bar for facilitating the movement of the slidable plate, and a discharge hose coupled with the opening and closing member to discharge the unpolished rice to the outside.
