PURPOSE: A method of displaying an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) of a mobile communication terminal is provided to separate an upper reference level from a lower reference level according to a time when field strength is reduced and a time when the field strength is increased, thereby stably changing an RSSI Bar even when the field strength is suddenly changed. CONSTITUTION: In an RSSI measuring step(S1-S4), a mobile communication terminal measures an RSSI in a wireless frequency when power is applied to the terminal, and stores the first RSSI level in a memory. In an RSSI level comparing step(S5-S7), the terminal re-measures the RSSI in the wireless frequency when a time elapses at a set RSSI measuring interval, and compares the second RSSI level with the first RSSI level. In an upper reference level applying step(S8-S11), the terminal applies an upper reference level to the second RSSI level when the second RSSI level is higher, and determines an increase or an unchanged state of an RSSI Bar of an antenna. In a lower reference level applying step(S13-S15), the terminal applies a lower reference level when the second RSSI level is not higher, and decides the increase or the unchanged state of the RSSI Bar.
