PURPOSE: A portable terminal for the tour guide information and a self-payment is provided to obtain the geographic information freely without the aid of a guider and a map, and to enable a tourist to charge the portable terminal with the electronic cash. CONSTITUTION: A card insertion slot is inserted by a personal information card. A card reader(104) reads the personal information from the personal information card inserted into the card insertion slot. An IC card insertion hole receives an IC card. An IC card information updating part(106) outputs the amount information of the inserted IC card and writes the charging amount. A wireless communication part(116) connects with the outer terminal or an Internet network through a wireless network. A controlling part(110) requests the self-payment inquiry by sending the read personal information and the additional information to a financial payment system, and charges the IC card with the payment amount when receiving the approval information according to the self-payment inquiry request.
