PURPOSE: A voice message transmission method is provided to receive a message from a wireless terminal to supply the message to another terminal, and to have a voice message transceiving function, thereby interworking with many wireless communication networks and transceiving a voice message between terminals connected to different networks. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter connects to a WAP gateway server to receive a WAP menu page(100,102). When the transmitter selects a voice message transmitting menu, a recording request signal is transmitted to a WTA(Wireless Telephony Application) server(104). The WTA server requests a receiver's telephone number inputting from the transmitter's terminal(106). The transmitter inputs the receiver's telephone number, and transmits the number to the WTA server(108). The WTA server supplies the telephone number and the transmitter's telephone number to an ARS/CTI unit, and directs to store a voice message. The ARS/CTI unit stores the voice message in a message storage(110-114). A message managing server stores message-related data, and informs the receiver's terminal of a message arrival(116). The receiver directly connects with the ARS/CTI unit(118). The ARS/CTI unit reads the voice message from the message storage, and supplies the message to the receiver's terminal(120). |
