PURPOSE: A sliding lever locking device of a seat for a vehicle is provided to prevent a sliding lever from turning upward even when a vehicle floor contacts the sliding lever and to prevent mal-function by making the sliding lever operate only when needed. CONSTITUTION: A sliding lever locking device(30) comprises a lever stopper(310) having a connecting part(312) and fixed on a seat cushion support panel forming the lower face of a seat cushion, a lever hook(320) rotatably combined to a sliding lever(20) via a hinge(322) and having a locking recess(324) for locking the connecting part of the lever stopper and a handle(326) for pulling, and an elastic member for elastically rotating the lever hook when the handle is released. If the lever hook locks the connecting part of the lever stopper, the sliding lever is locked with a specific interval from the lever stopper.
