PURPOSE: A refrigerating system is provided to control temperature in a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment at optimum condition correspondingly with surrounding temperature. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a surrounding temperature detecting sensor(127) detecting surrounding temperature; a temperature sensor(105) detecting temperature in a refrigerator compartment(101); a heater(129) driven to increase temperature in the refrigerator compartment when temperature detected by the surrounding temperature detecting sensor is under fixed value; and a compressor(107) generating chilled air based on temperature detected by the temperature sensor and preset temperature of the refrigerator compartment when temperature in the refrigerator compartment is increased by the heater.
