PURPOSE: A line striking rebound test machine is provided to increase compression force and striking force by forming impact plunger into the shape of line, expanding diameter of compression spring and reducing turns of compression spring. CONSTITUTION: A surface striking rebound test machine comprises a housing(3) formed into the shape of a cylinder having both ends closed by a rear cover(7) and a washer(12); a compression spring(5) mounted at the rear portion of the housing, and which generates a strong compression force; a stopper(8) for sustaining compression force generated by the compression spring and driving the compression force; a hammer(9) operating by the compression force generated from the action of the compression spring, and which transmits striking force to an impact plunger(1); the impact plunger for transmitting striking force of the hammer into a concrete structure, and detecting bound of internal stress of concrete structure, wherein the impact plunger is formed into a line and arranged to maintain an orthogonal state with respect to the surface of concrete structure so as to prevent error caused due to changes of measurement angle during rebound measurement; an impact spring(10) for pushing the hammer upward by transmitting the rebound detected by the impact plunger to the hammer; an indicator(4) operating by the hammer pushed upward by the force of the impact spring, and which indicates level of the rebound of concrete structure; a scale plate(11) for displaying the level of data indicated by the indicator; and a push button(6) for temporarily holding the indicator so as to prevent change of position of the indicator when the data displayed on the scale plate is read.
