PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data preparing method and a printing system therefor capable of reducing the capacity of a necessary storage area, and reducing the load to be imposed on a network, and printing data even when any necessary font or the like is not present in a server at the time of printing print data including print data for transmitting information and print data (such as in-company confidential stamp) for displaying functions. SOLUTION: This print system for printing a pattern on each page of a document in an overlapped state is provided with a user interface driver 3 having a pattern setting processing part for designating the characteristics of a pattern to be overlapped on each page of the document during print driving for supplying print data to a printer and a pattern page generation processing part for plotting a page including only the pattern, and for inserting the page of the pattern prior to the print data of the document, a print processor 5 functioning as a pattern page synthesis processing part for preparing an overlapped page by overlapping each page of the print data of the document and the pattern page, and a printer graphic driver 6 functioning as an image generation processing part for generating the bit map data of the overlapped page, and for supplying it to a printing part. |
