Apparatus, has a trap with a swing flap to take the inserted sample container and allow the transfer movement, in a single-handed operation without contamination. The apparatus to transfer a sample, into a vessel or container, has a trap with a hinged flap at a wall (2) with an opening (4), which closes the opening and can pivot into an open position to pass a object (5) through it. The swing axis (1) is located near the rear end (8), parallel to it. The leading end (7) has an opening (12) to allow a sample transfer, and the insertion of the sample container pushes the closing flap aside. The flap (13) is hinged at the leading end of the trap.
