<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of detection of data abnormality of a nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: An ECU 10 is equipped with a known microcomputer 11, which has a CPU 12, a RAM 13, and a flash ROM 14 inside. The CPU 12 inspects the data in the flash ROM 14 by a check-sum method. Further, the CPU 12 copies data in a specified area among all the data in the flash ROM to the EEPROM 15. After the data are copied, identical data in the flash ROM 14 and EEPROM 15 are sequentially compared with each other and the data inspection is carried out according to the respective pieces of data match each other.</p> |
