<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storing facility allowing improvement of working efficiency. SOLUTION: Mobile carriers 40a and 40b have an empty pallet button for inputting the fact that a pallet P is empty to an controller E. The controller E, on receiving information of articles J to be carried out and a command of the amount, determines an article storing part D storing the articles based on the information of the article J of the command, and carries out pallets P loading the articles J from the determined article storing part D to the mobile carriers 40a and 40b. When it is discriminated that a pallet P is empty based on the amount of shipped articles J of the command, in response to the input of the empty pallet button, the controller E determines an empty article storing part D from one of an article storing part D requiring relatively long time for carrying in/out the pallet P from a carrying in/out port and an article storing part D requiring relatively short time, and makes the empty pallet P to be stored into the article storing part D.</p> |
