摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadband optical filter which can find out a layered structure that satisfies the required optical characteristics in a short time and also can easily control film thickness when the film is formed. SOLUTION: The optical filter has a substrate 11, a multiple resonator layer 21, and an antireflection coating layer 22. The multiple resonator layer 21 consists of a core resonator layer 23 that is arranged in the center, satisfies specification of a blocking region with itself, and is constituted by repetition of one kind of the resonator or by two kinds of symmetrically arranged resonators, and both outside resonator layers 24 that are symmetrically arranged across the core resonator layer 23 and suppress the optical reflection in a transmission region. Each resonator shares a central wavelength of a transmission region in its simple body, and all the medium layers with high and low refractive indexes where the resonators are alternately laminated have an optical film thickness of an integral multiple of a 1/4 wavelength of the central wavelength.
