PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a small-sized motor, capable of facilitating layering work of an iron core for cost reduction in manufacture, and facilitating attaining of a rotor of high quality and stable performance. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the small-sized motor in which a plurality of pieces of iron cores are layered and fixed at its axial hole with a shaft pierced to form a rotor, the plurality of pieces of the iron cores are layered with an adhesive interposed in at least either surface of the iron cores in the layering direction, and the each iron cores in layered state is induction- heated to the layer and fix the respective iron cores are fixed. The adhesive is previously integrated with the iron core, and the shaft is press-inserted in the axial hole of the layered iron core under an induction-heated condition.
