PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a speaker unit by omitting a switch for mutually switching a plurality of channels of a speaker in a speaker system having a plurality of the speaker units. SOLUTION: In the speaker system, the speakers 21 and 31 are respectively mounted in the first speaker unit 2 and the second speaker unit 3, and two amplifiers 4 and 5 for both speakers 21 and 31 are contained in a cabinet 20 of the first speaker unit 2. Two output jacks 44 and 45 for outputting acoustic signals obtained from both amplifiers 4 and 5 are mounted in the cabinet 20 of the first speaker unit 2. Meanwhile, input plugs 25 and 45 which are insertable and removable, are mounted with interchangeability at the jacks 44 and 45 at distal ends of lead wires 22 and 32 extended from the speakers 21 and 31 of both the speaker units 2 and 3.
