DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SPECIFYING A TROUBLE POINT IN CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble such as burning from being generated in a pair of ratio arm resistances 2, 3 and a galvanometer 4 by receiving induction from other cable existing in a periphery of a measuring circuit. SOLUTION: An electrostatic capacity 11 of which the impedance in an alternating current is sufficiently smaller than those of a troubled cable 7 and a sound cable 8 is connected in parallel to the galvanometer 4. A low path filter 12 of which the shielding frequency is lower than a frequency of an induced current is also provided between end parts of the paired ratio arm resistances 2, 3 and the galvanometer 4.
