PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce surface temperature around an exhaust hole provided in an external contour surface of a microwave oven. SOLUTION: A thermal diffusion plate 5 is provided between a magnetron 3 and a discharge hole 9 provided in an external contour surface of the microwave oven, which heat diffusion plate 5 is constructed with metal possessing excellent thermal conductivity. Hereby, there is lowered surface temperature around the cooling air exhaust hole 9 formed in the external contour.
