PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment furnace in which temperature variation and characteristic variation of an article being heat treated can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The heat treatment furnace comprises a furnace body 2, a furnace bed provided at the lower part of the furnace body, a box 4 mounted on the furnace bed and containing an article being heat treated, a heater 5 provided in the furnace body, a gas exhaust pipe 6 disposed in the furnace body, and a gas supply pipe 7 disposed in an annular space S formed between the sidewall of the furnace body and the box, wherein the gas outlet 7a of the gas supply pipe 7 is opened toward the circumferential direction of the annular space in order to form a gas flow circulating the annular space. |
