PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp toner consumption for each user by converting it into the number of printed sheets in the case of sharing and using a digital copying machine having a plurality of functions such as a copying machine, a facsimile and a printer by a plurality of sections, and to realize the easy control of the toner consumption. SOLUTION: In this digital copying machine, the number of printed pixels is measured (S44), the measured value of the number of pixels is sorted to the case that transfer paper is normally ejected and the case that operation is interrupted and finished before the transfer paper is normally ejected (S45), and the counter values by printed paper number counters prepared respectively are increased every time the sorted number of pixels exceeds the specified measured value of the number of pixels obtained from the area ratio of optional paper size (S46 and S48). The tone consumption is converted into the number of sheets based on the counter value, and the toner consumption is measured in the case of normally ejecting the paper and in the case of interrupting and finishing the operation, respectively. |
