PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix and support a tank body which is elastically supported through a fixing utensil-receiving member under a shock absorbing state, and at the same time, prevent the fixing utensil-receiving member from sticking to a washing machine side at the time of unpacking, for a packaging device for the washing machine. SOLUTION: The washing machine 21 is equipped with a fixing utensil 35 on the external bottom section of the tank body 24 which is elastically supported in a box body 22. In such a washing machine 21, this packaging device 45 is equipped with a bottom section-packaging body 38 which is arranged on the lower surface of the washing machine 21, and receives and supports the washing machine 21 under the shock absorbing state. In such a packaging device 45, the fixing utensil-receiving member 43 which fixes and supports the fixing utensil 35 is arranged on the upper surface of a tray-shape bottom plate member 41 constituting the bottom section-packaging body 38. At the same time, the packaging device 45 is constituted in such a manner that a reinforcing material 44 is provided to attach and hold the fixing utensil-receiving member 43 at that location.
