PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment that has other state than power ON/OFF states so as to provide high convenience to a user. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal equipment has three states as a power ON state, a power OFF state and a radio wave stop state. In the radio wave stop state, while stopping transmission of a radio wave, processing for electronic mail creation or the like can be available. Thus, even in a communication stop request area such as in a train and a medical treatment facility, the user can use a function such as mail creation not needing the communication function. Furthermore, depending on whether or not an antenna is contained in the mobile communication terminal, the user can discriminate whether or not a radio wave is transmitted and the user of the communication terminal and surrounding people can easily grasp the state of the terminal.
