PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a printing medium from being soiled and printing quality from being deteriorated by preventing a fixing heating value from getting insufficient at a part where printing density is thick and fixing temperature from getting too high at a part where the printing density is thin. SOLUTION: This fixing device is provided with a fixing roller 101 provided with a heating element for thermally melting toner and fixing it on the printing medium 109 such as printing paper, and a pressure roller 106 holding and carrying the printing medium between the rollers 101 and 106, and is equipped with a pixel counter 116 counting the number of pixels of a printed image to be fixed and a power source part 121 controlling the temperature of the roller 101 according to the number of pixels counted by the counter 116. |
