PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the amount of image blur independently of the change of the focal length of the imaging lens by securing a image blur detection band sufficient to prevent the image blur. SOLUTION: In an image blur detector for reading the output of an image sensor and detecting the amount of image blur from the output, the focal length information of the imaging lens of an optical instrument on which this image blur detector is installed is inputted, and the period for detecting the amount of image blur is changed according to the focal length information (#132 to #134). |
