PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper body having good heat radiation and allowing stable and highly reliable braking operation by preventing the overheat of the caliper body. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the caliper body for a vehicular disc brake through casting processes comprises cutting off a portion of a main body 10 of the caliper body, for example, the outer surface of a side face portion of a bridge part 10c after casting and removing a cast surface covering the outer surface of the main body 10.
