PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual winding device for an electric shutter of high safety, capable of minimizing damping of rotational torque. SOLUTION: The rotational torque by the handle operation of a first stage transmission 40 provided at a suitable height from a floor face is transmitted to an intermediate transmission provided near a shutter 10 for driving the electric shutter, and output torque from the intermediate transmission is transmitted to the shutter 10 to allow manual winding of the electric shutter. The intermediate transmission 30 is fixed to a mounting part 21 of a mount 20 additionally provided at the shutter 10, and the output torque from the intermediate transmission 30 is transmitted to a driving output shaft 12 of the shutter 10 only when the shutter 10 is not in an energizing state.
