PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming concrete foundation of a building, which enables easy and reliable formation of the concrete foundation for stably constructing the building even on soft ground. SOLUTION: An upper end of a cylindrical reinforcing pile 16, which rises on the ground in an approximately vertical manner, is fitted into a cylindrical fitting part 15 of a pile driving jig 10 attached to a hydraulic motor 6 at an end of a crane 2. A protrusion 22, which is provided protrusively in the reinforcing pile 16, is engaged with a cut part 17 of a reverse L-shaped engaging means 19 of the fitting part 15. The hydraulic motor 6 is run in a forward direction so that the protrusion 22 can be buried to a position at a depth greater than a freezing depth by a screw blade 21 of the reinforcing pile 16. The ground is excavated to the protrusion 22, crushed stones are laid wholly, and the concrete foundation is formed integrally in such a manner as to contain the upper end of the reinforcing pile 16. Reversing the hydraulic motor 6 allows the protrusion 22, serving as a reference of a burying position, to be engaged with an engaging part 18 of the engaging means 19 so as to be made extractable.
